Is your Kitty healthy? Take care of your vaginal health

Naked Curve Girl here. Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of a percentage of the female population in Australia. That’s you, you sexy thing, you.

I’m usually flirtatious with you all while I share with you how much I love holiday or hotel sex with my man. I thought I’d flirt this question to you and take it however you resonate with it.

Is your Kitty healthy? Are you taking care of your vaginal health?

All jokes aside, you can’t live your Dolce Vita Lifestyle like Kourtney Kardashian Barker if you’re not taking care of your vagina.

Stop for a second and think, is my vagina healthy?

Vaginal health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being for women, yet it's often overlooked or not discussed openly. Luckily, at Naked Curve, no topic is off-limits. Keep reading...

Maintaining good vaginal health is essential for preventing infections, discomfort, and other complications.

Just because the vagina is a self-cleaning organ doesn’t mean you don’t need to take care of it

The vagina is a self-cleaning organ with a natural balance of bacteria and pH levels. However, various factors such as hormonal changes, sexual activity (cheeky), hygiene practices, and certain medical conditions can impact vaginal health.

It's important to understand what constitutes normal vaginal health and when to seek medical attention for any concerns.

How to practice good vaginal health and take care of your pussy the right way

Practice Good Hygiene: Wash the external genital area with mild soap and water daily (like a flower). Avoid using harsh soaps or scented products inside the vagina, as they can disrupt the natural pH balance.

Stay Hydrated: Drinking an adequate amount of water helps maintain vaginal moisture and supports overall vaginal health. When you go to a restaurant, order the Aqua Pana and tell your friends you must water your flower.

Choose Breathable Fabrics: Wear cotton underwear and avoid tight-fitting clothing, as they can trap moisture and promote bacterial growth. Trust me on this one.

Safe Sex Practices: Use condoms to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and reduce the risk of vaginal infections. I’m not here to tell you what to do, but do right by you, girl. You don’t want any nasties.

Regular Gynaecological Exams: Schedule routine check-ups with your gynaecologist for pelvic exams and screenings, including Pap smears and STI tests. Don’t be scared of seeing the gyno or getting a pap smear. It burns me when women say they’re scared to know or have never had a pap or seen a gyno. As women, we have unique organs. We need to nurture them!

Healthy Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced diet, engage in regular physical activity, manage stress levels, and get enough sleep to support overall vaginal health. This isn’t about being skinny, this is about giving your body the nutrients it needs to stay regulated. Would you put petrol in a diesel car? No. Don’t run off a Red bull and takeaway diet. It’ll never work. Your body will need more services than your car.

Exercise Recommendations for Vaginal Health

Kegel Exercises: Kegels are pelvic floor exercises that help strengthen the muscles surrounding the vagina and improve bladder control. To perform Kegels, contract the pelvic floor muscles as if you're trying to stop the urine flow, hold for a few seconds, and then release. Aim for three sets of 10 repetitions daily.

Yoga and Pilates: Certain yoga and Pilates can target the pelvic floor muscles, promoting strength and flexibility in the pelvic region. Incorporate poses such as Bridge Pose, Cat-Cow Stretch, and Squats into your routine. Now's your time to shine. Be the Pilates and wellness girly you've always dreamed of.

Cardiovascular Exercise: Regular aerobic exercise, such as walking, jogging, or cycling, improves blood circulation throughout the body, including the pelvic area. Improved blood flow contributes to better overall vaginal health.

Pelvic Floor Therapy: For women experiencing pelvic floor issues, such as urinary incontinence or pelvic pain, pelvic floor therapy conducted by a specialized physiotherapist or gynaecologist can provide targeted exercises and treatments to address these concerns.

Now that we’ve covered that chapter, I hope you start taking care of your delicate flower like your favorite designer bag sitting in your wardrobe.

With love,

Naked Curve Girl
